Hartford, CT – November 5, 2012 Futures, Inc. and the philanthropic arm of Groupon – Groupon Grassroots – announce the launch of their “Make a Difference Campaign” to provide holiday gifts and lunches to students and adults with disabilities, many of whom are economically disadvantaged.

“Many of the students and adults that we serve receive few gifts and do not attend holiday gatherings,” said Pam DonAroma, Futures, Inc. Executive Director. We are looking forward to employing the collective action model of Groupon Grassroots to brighten the holidays for so many. And, we hope this initiative will increase awareness of Futures, Inc. as one the organizations that has been doing good work in Hartford for many years.”
